GDAS Hosts Promotion Meeting & Training Program for Technologies in Green Pesticides and Additives

　　On August 17th, the Promotion Meeting & Training Program for Technologies in Green Pesticides and Additives was held in Guangzhou. The event was hosted by GDAS, organized by GDAS Industrial Technology Incubation Center, and co-organized by Guangdong Pesticide Association. 

　　At the meeting, experts from universities and research institutes gave six presentations on various topics, including “eco-friendly processing of pesticide preparations in Guangdong”, “development of pesticide formulations and application technologies”, “proper use of pesticides”, “formulation development of 20% thiazophos EW”, “registration and application of biological pesticides” and “development and application of water-based pesticide additives”. More than 90 senior executives and technical professionals from 52 enterprises across the country participated in the training, which was rich in content with specific targets, instructions and uses.  

　　Through precise match-making between technology achievements of universities and research institutes, and specific needs of enterprises, the training aims to promote research developments of eco-friendly agricultural preparations and additives, to help enterprises overcome headaches in pesticide production and use, and to facilitate the development and application of green pesticide preparations and additives in Guangdong.
