On December 24th, a delegation led by Prof. Nikolai Z. Lyakhov, member of International Mechanochemical Association (IMA) and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), visited GDAS and met with LI Dingqiang, Vice President of GDAS.
At the meeting, LI gave an introduction to GDAS’s development history, research platforms, research fields, professional teams, technology commercialization and international cooperation. He pointed out that GDAS attached great importance to scientific and technological cooperation with research institutes in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and had established close partnership with the National Academies of Sciences of Ukraine and Belarus. He hoped to enhance exchanges and cooperation with RAS. Lyakhov shared the research fields and technology commercialization of the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also wished to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with GDAS, and invited GDAS to partake in the 6th International Conference on Fundamental Bases of Mechanochemical Technologies 2020 in Guangzhou.
The two parties then discussed cooperation opportunities and agreed to stay connected for further exchanges and cooperation.
