The National Engineering Research Center of Powder Metallurgy of Titanium and Rare Metals was approved by Ministry of Science and Technology in 1994.
It features powder metallurgy technologies and is guided by the national demands for titanium and rare metals. Aiming at studying the advanced technologies and materials of titanium and other rare metals, and developing a complete set of engineering technologies suitable for large-scale production, it has become an engineering research base for scientific and technological achievements of titanium and other rare metals, integrating research, development, design, pilot production, talent training and information services.
Great efforts have been made to improve the maturity, matching and engineering level of scientific research achievements in the field of titanium and rare metal powder metallurgy, continuously provide the advanced technologies, materials and products, and promote the technological progress in the powder metallurgical industry of titanium and rare metals in China.
